How to copy and paste data if excel sheet is protected to select.

Hi,

Is it possible to copy data from excel file which is protected for selecting. I have a file but i forgot the password. I want to retrieve the data by just copy and paste to another sheet but the sheet is currently protected for selection.

I think I can use POWER QUERY.

If the file is protected against selection, and the protection is passworded, then you cannot copy the data.
