Auto reporting info based on multiple variables using Pivot tables

Alright - I'm still pretty new to excel but with the help of this forum I'm beginning to become better haha. Essentially what I'm trying to accomplish (I'll attach the workbook of what I've completed so far) is for the pivot table to take all the info of what I'm entering and give me somewhat of a total at the end of every bi-weekly period.

The activity numbers represent a particular activity. The activity may happen on multiple highways. When this happens I need the information (hours worked) to match and sum the result for the biweekly period. So for example, 1101 may occur on highway 17 but also highway 21. If you look at what I'm trying to accomplish you'll notice that the pivot table is setup to report as many as 3 different highways for any one activity. Which is great - however I cant figure out how to orient it to split up all the results on a day by day basis.

My mind is burnt from trying to figure this out - but the better I can make this spreadsheet the quicker i can report my information

Any help at all is appreciated!

    Cheers,

    MD.

    edit:

I included information up to the "Wed Week 1" tab for the sole purpose of testing the spreadsheet. No additional info was added beyond that.

Also the last worksheet is my pivot table titled 'Summary'

    Re: Pivot Table help

Please take a moment to re-read forum rule #1 and then amend your thread title to something that better explains your problem. Changing your thread title is not optional, which means you must change it. Thanks!

    • Use concise, accurate thread titles.
    • Your post title should describe your problem, not your anticipated solution.
    • Use terms appropriate to a Google search - poor thread titles, like Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice tell us nothing.
    • Responding to a request to change your thread title by doing so is mandatory.

To change a title go to your first post, click EDIT then Go Advanced and change your title.

No help to be offered, please, until the OP complies with this request.
