    Increase thickness of cell walls

    Hi

    Hi have Office 2007,

I need thicker cell walls than the default, how do I do this?

I need all the cells in a number of columns to be a lot thicker,
    around 3 pts.

    Any advice appreciated.

    Thanks

    Daniel

On the ribbon, Home-->Font-->Borders-->Line Style and select the border you want.

If you want to do this with VBA then -->https://software-solutions-online.co...ickness-afdad/

Hi thanks for your prompt reply, is there a way of increasing all selected cells
    at the same time?

    Thanks

Yes. On the ribbon, Home-->Font-->Borders-->All Borders. For this to happen you need to highlight all cells you wish to have this action.

Re: Increase thickness of cell walls

    Hi

I hope I am allowed to use this older thread of mine, it is on the same subject.

I have been using the method given to me here without problems.

I now find I have a need to have a wider border than the thickest choice in
the "Format Borders" Linestyle dialogue box.

Is there a way to use a non default thickness defined by point measures
as you can with text boxes in word.

    Any advice appreciated

    Regards

    Daniel
