    Inventory management

    Hello. I have over 300 different card designs and 5 shops where I rent space to sell my cards. I'm wondering if Excel is the right tool to use to track inventory at all 5 shops and also what I distribute privately and have in stock. At the moment work in an excel document and track which shop has what stock but I dont kno how to link that info to what I have here a home. Can ayone help me please. I'm a 'newbie' to Excel

    Check this out,
    You can use the reservation tab to refer as home stock.

    Thank you... and where would I place the different shops? and how would what the sell link to my stock?

    Click Go Advanced ( you can see @ right bottom) -> manage attachmets -> attach the file.

    I believe that you will need to indicate the number of cards initially placed at each store and keep up with the number of cards that are added to each stores stock.
    The file has been modified so that column F shows the initial stock allocated to the store. Columns M, T, AA... show the amount of stock added to the store that week (doesn't really matter whether it happens during the week or before the beginning of following week).
    Column E displays the current stock level for that store using:
    Formula: copy to clipboard
    Please Login or Register  to view this content.

    On the 'My Stock' sheet the current stock level for all stores is displayed using: =SUM('Private sales:ShopE'!E2)
    The sales for each day is displayed using: =SUM('Private sales:ShopE'!G2)
    Note that this is modeled for the 110/1 card only, so you'll need to copy the formulas down the sheets.

    Hi Team,
    Apologize if am at wrong place.


    Need your expertise with excel formula... to maintain the inventory.

    Scenario -
    I have 1700 no of boxes
    each or one box has 12 packs/pieces
    If I sold 75.4
    balance should be 1624.8 its by manually

    Need an formula for this scenario to keep maintain the inventory.

    Excel table -
    No of Boxes No of Boxes sold Balance boxes
    1700 75.4 1624.8
