Question Lookup Lists for Droip-Downs to Allow Calculations on Another Worksheet

    Hello,

First time here and just need some help to create a small project.

I run a sound and lighting company and I am in the process of cataloging all my equipment including the weight of each item.
The next thing I want to do is add another page that I can use as a truck loading tool by being able to select items from the audio or lighting page, put in a quantity and have the page total up the weight of all the equipment so I know how much I am loading.

How do I do this? How do I create a dropdown list of all my items on either page and have the weight associated with it so the total calculation works?

    I hope this makes sense.

    TIA

    GT

Re: Is this possible to do?

yes, you can use a lookup and list the items
a sample excel sheet attached here would help

FYI - usually a moderator would mention this - before anyone else can answer
also you need to change your title see forum rules 1. - this would need to be a brief description of problem - before others are able to answer further
