    Auto-filling calendar from a list

    Hey guys!
I was wondering if could help with my exams list
I have this classic list of my exams names and their date that i can copy from the university website; i'd love to have a template that automatically fill a monthly calendar with the exams names.
I've found this topic witch pretty make what i need but i couldn't change the date because it's fixed for the 2015 at its best:

    excelforum.com/excel-new-users-basics/825700-help-linking-calendar-to-spreadsheet

Can someone help me? Maybe update this tamplate or made a new one that works for 2019?

p.s. Sorry for grammar error's i'm sure i've made, foreign language is not my best subject
p.s.2 Also tell me if i made mistake making this topic, i'm new to forum as well as excel

The issue is with the data validation in cell K4. It explicitly listed the years 2011 to 2015. You could either extend this list, or what I did was make it a whole number between last year and next year whatever the current year is.

One spreadsheet to rule them all. One spreadsheet to find them. One spreadsheet to bring them all and at corporate, bind them.

A picture is worth a thousand words, but a sample spreadsheet is more likely to be worked on.

Wow! That's an old one of mine. I've updated it to give you more recent years in the drop-down (K4 in the Calendar sheet), and I've included your sample data in the Activities sheet.

    Hope this helps.

Is there an easy way to enter additional columns of data? I am looking at building an event forecasting tool for a catering operation and beyond just capturing the date and the title I want to include the guest count, location, and time

You shouldn't really ask questions in someone else's thread (known as "hijacking") - instead you should start a new thread of your own, with a link back to this one if you think it is relevant.

That being said, however, you should search the forum for threads of mine with "calendar" in the title, as I have submitted several files over the years with different requirements from other posters, and you may find one that fits the bill more than this one (which is based on the first one I submitted several years ago).

    Hope this helps.

My apologies. I'm new to this and created an account just to explore these templates. I didn't mean any offense and appreciate your reply.
