    Comparing Two sheets two columns

    I want to compare and highlight the rows in sheet2, As per In sheet1 if borrower id and product type was differ in sheet2 when comparing to sheet1 then it want to highlight the borrower id in sheet2

    As always, you need to manually mock-up what you want in the sample file. Please add the highlighting you wish to see and post the sample again.

    i have updated the output in existing attached excel file that what it want to highlight in the sheet2. Actually i am having 4lakhs rows so pls send formula for that

    Will a given borrower ID ever be repeated, or will each ID only appear once. If each ID only appears once, you could try the following conditional formatting formula applied to Column A:A

    Like I mention, though, this will most likely only work if the borrower ID's are only entered exactly once in column A on sheets 1 and 2 respectively.

    It will also depend on the product types being entered exactly the same way on each sheet. By which I mean "Water Filter" on Sheet1 cannot be entered as "water filter" on Sheet2, this will be interpreted by the formula as two different values.
