Convertin excel sheets to PDFs, pages have half a page of blank space

I have a workbook with about 16 tabs. I want to convert this workbook into a PDF with one tab per page. In order to properly view the sheets, I have in page layout set the scale-to-fit height to 1 page.

The problem is when I go to the view tab and view the page layout, a lot of the tabs only take up half of the width of the page, leaving about 6 blank columns to the right of the last column on the page. I haven't changed the width scale to fit at all but for some reason when I set the height scale to fit to 1 page, it condenses the width of the sheet and leaves about 6 columns of blank excel sheet on the page for seemingly no reason. I have deleted these blank columns and still nothing.

How can I fix this so when I convert these sheets to PDF, they take up the full page and are easy to read?

This does not seem to solve the problem. Even after I insert a page break, when I checked the page layout and the print preview it still had the sheet only taking up half the page.
