Changing color format in cells based on 3 range values in a different column cells.

    Good Afternoon Friends,

So I have a table on Contents that goes from A2 to E500 and I want them to change fill color based on the following criteria or value found on cells in column F:

    Between 0 and 49 = Yellow
    Between 50 and 89 = Orange
    Above 90 = Blue

Values in column I go from F2 to F500

If any of you have an idea on how to approach this, will be greatly appreciated.

NOTE:Column F and G already is formated independent from A to E to change color based on range of values above.

Apologize if i didn't explain myself correctly, just didn't know how else to do it.

Hi again. You can use Conditional Formatting for this.

    1. Select your range (the range you want to format - A2:E500).
    2. On the Home tab of the ribbon, click 'Conditional Formatting', then 'New Rule', then 'Use a formula to determine which cells to format'.
    3. In the formula box, enter this:
    Formula: copy to clipboard

    4. Click 'Format' then choose yellow fill.
    5. Click OK twice to get back to the worksheet.

Repeat for orange fill and blue fills with these formulae:
    Formula: copy to clipboard

If the figures are percentages, then use (for example) 50% instead of just 50, like this:
    Formula: copy to clipboard

Hope that does what you want.

If your problem is solved, please go to 'Thread Tools' above your first post and 'Mark this Thread as Solved'.
If you use commas as your decimal separator (1,23 instead of 1.23) then please replace commas with semi-colons in your formulae.
You don't need to give me rep if I helped, but a thank-you is nice.

You're welcome, glad I could help.

Just a note: in future, please don't quote whole posts when replying - it makes the threads very difficult to follow. If you're replying to the post above, no need to quote at all. If you're replying to an earlier post then quoting is fine but please cut it down to the bare minimum to show which part you're replying to. Thanks.
