Freezing cells within a page whilst everything else moves

Hello and good day to you.

Is it possible to freeze a set number of cells within a page so that the rest scrolls around it?

I have a small chart in cells (Y7:AB21) which I would like to keep visible at all times whilst scrolling around the rest of the worksheet.

Just to add, I already have the top 3 lines froze.

An alternatiive work around is to freeze the top 3 lines as stated above, and the first 4 columns, then move the chart to the frozen columns if this is possible. I can only manage to do 1 or the other.

Many thanks in advance ~ D

So, possibly use the camera tool to take a picture of the chart and then use/modify this code: https://www.mrexcel.com/forum/excel-...s-out-way.html

Thankyou for the reply Pauleyb. But if this only takes aand displays a picture, then it wont work for me. The chart has active cells which calculate values from the rest of the worksheet. Have given you a rep bump non the less =)).

Is it possible to freeze vertical and horizontal rows and columns at the same time? This would work, I'd just move the chart to columns (A:D) and freeze them. I already have rows (1:5) froze as they contain column headings etc.

Please excuse my lack of Excel knowledge. I've only just found out that it's possible to freeze both horizontal and vertical panes. I shall set this question as solved.

Thanks for the rep bump, and to expand your knowledge a bit more. Using the camera tool, it does take a picture of your spreadsheet, but that picture is dynamic. It will display any changes in the cells/graphs that you set the picture's range to (probably better to envision it as a window).

But, locking your horizontal and vertical panes is a better solution.
