Assigning numbers to text possible?

Basically i have a list of 200+ products that i frequently need to input in excel. Is there a way to assign numbers to these products so I dont have to write them out every time. For example if i want D2 to say "Coca-cola 1L Bottle", instead of writing it out I want to be able to type "13" and for the productname "Coca-cola 1L Bottle" to show up. If you guys could help in any way I would much appreciate it. Thank you.

PS: Im not very familiar with Excel so you might want to put me in a boosterseat and talk to me like im 5yo Xd

Hi and welcome to the forum

Create a two column table, say A1:B200 on say Sheet1 but it could be anywhere of course.
In the first column enter your references like "13" and in the second column enter the product description.

Then you can use the following formula to return the description

Better still apply a name to the table in A1:Bnnn, say "Data"
