    Sumif to get the total qty/value per year based on category

    Hello Guru's,

    Please help me out to provide the correct formula on how to get the desired data.
    I need the formula how to get the total qty on hand per year and so on
    I need the formula how to get the total value on hand per year and so on
    Attached is the sample sheet with desired result on sheet 2

    How about in B23 copied to the right and down...

    =SUMIFS($A$2:$A$14,$C$2:$C$14,$A23,$D$2:$D$14,B$22)

    And then in B29 copied to the right and down...

    =SUMIFS($B$2:$B$14,$C$2:$C$14,$A29,$D$2:$D$14,B$28)

    Note: The simplest method would be to build a pivot table.
