how to convert Drop-Frame timecode (DFTC) to frame count and back

Hi everybody...

Relatively new to Excel and spreadsheets. Work in post-production and it's what has lead me here. I'm figuring out how to convert Drop-Frame timecode (DFTC) to frame count and then back to DFTC. I've got the first part resolved, now to get back to HH:MM:SS;FF... Feels good learning the different functionality of this tool.

I have changed your title to something more descriptive of your problem (as required by our rules).

In the likely event that most members have no clue what DFTC or frame count is (I know I dont), perhaps you could show some sample data, expected outcome, and explain how this works?

Hello... I wasn't really requesting help, just stating my purpose for joining the forum... It was an introduction thread.
