    How to use Count function with active filters

    I have to count no. of Red values based on filters applied in Desc column from below example. Normal countif works but it shows same no even with filtered list so how to use countif for filtered list.

    Desc Value
    A Red
    B Blue
    C Red
    D Blue
    E Green
    F Yellow
    G Red

    It may be worth looking at the subtotal function as it will account for filtered rows, it can be combined as in the example below to get what you want
