    sum variable number of neg numbers and pos numbers, then repeat

    hello forum,
    please, i cant seem to get anywhere with this.
    i would like a total of a set of neg and pos cells.
    results in col c

    Welcome to the forum.

    Total in what way? Does =SUM(range) not do what you want?

    If not, then please provide a sample workbook - follow the instructions at the top of the page.
