Excel sheet that will take data from one sheet and populate it to another

I want data from one sheet to auto populate to another. For example if this member is now inactive they will remain on the main roster but if I put an I for inactive their status their information will now be on the inactive excel sheet. I have seen several similar questions but no code to use. All and any help will be appreciated. I tried a pivot table but the data froze for over 24hrs probably user error on my part and I am using Excel 2007. But I need direction please!

above will show all active users in active sheet and if you put I in status, data will be erased and will go to inactive sheet
