I have a excel sheet where the stock values are updated on daily basis and a total sum is available of all stocks.
How can I record the daily values (The total sum) in a different cell with dates on daily basis.
Appreciate your help.

Are you inputting the data manually?
It would be helpful to attach a sample of what you're wanting with "fake" results. Label it according to what you want to happen.
Based on the picture you attached... you want C5 to be saved below in C8 on a daily basis?
Thanks for the update.
Data in Column C1 to C3 are getting updated daily. (I just refresh the data whenever i open excel)
You got it right....C5 to be saved in below C8..C9..C10 & so on, on a daily basis.
Thank you

Your attachment didn't open. I recreated your picture.
Probably not the textbook way of doing it, but it's a start. I changed your layout to put the newest date on top in C8. Once you have your new data input in C2:C4 hit the Archive button.
jme1013, that works absolutely perfect. Bravo for getting me right!
I have a bigger lines of data. How you have coded the archive button. Would you mind in sharing the code.
Thank you so much and i appreciate.
ivans26, glad it worked for you. With the workbook open, press alt + F11, this will step you into the VBA code.
Here's what you're looking for.
