    problem condition formating

    hello
    i have a problem with condition formatting if column d = "finish" then highlight font by red and "not finish " highlight font by green i do that but not works i hope somebody help where is exectly the problem

    you should read well , i would say same thing for you as what i said in another forum this is not the same subject the main post is the formula and highlight but my post in another forum is solve problem condition formatting that's why i don't provide the link in the beginning despite this

    Soln: You have two spaces in the "not finish" string and therefore the condition will not be met.

    To complete answer, the Soln requires the use of the Formatting Rule "Format only cells that contain" as opposed to "use a formula to determine which cells to format."

    Notice the second rule is using the edit mode that will work for this condition.
