Extracting IP Addresses from Longer Strings

I have a row of IP addresses that are formulated like this:
Please Login or Register to view this content.
I need ONLY the IP address.
My problem is consistent.... on smaller IP addresses, no matter what formula I use (RIGHT,LEFT,TRIM,CONCAT), I always end up with an empty space at the end of IP addresses that end in two numbers, and a space and dash on IP addresses that end in single numbers. Can someone help please?

    (IP addresses start in F2)

    Administrative Note:

    Welcome to the forum.

We would very much like to help you with your query, however the thread title does not really convey what your request is about. Tell us what you are trying to do, not how you think it should be done.

Please take a moment to amend your thread title. Make sure that the title properly explains your request. Your title should be explicit and not be generic (this includes function names used without an indication of what you are trying to achieve).

Please see Forum Rule #1 about proper thread titles and adjust accordingly. To edit the thread title, open the original post to edit and then click on Go Advanced (bottom right) to access the area where you can edit your title.

(Note: this change is not optional. As you are new here, I have done it for you this time.)

    Try this:

    =TRIM(LEFT(SUBSTITUTE(F2,"-",REPT(" ",99)),15))

    Hi,

    I can see two options.
    1. Select the range and use Data...TextToColumns...Delimited and specifying the space " " as the delimiter.
    2. If you need a function then
    Formula: copy to clipboard

    Wow!!!! Amazing rapid responses!!!!

    AliGW:
Thank you for editing my thread title to something more appropriate.

    Both AliGW and Richard:
That is genius using the space and dash as a delimiter. Sometimes it's just so simple and my brain makes it so complicated.

Verified... Both methods worked for this scenario!

    Thank you both!
