    Data transpose

    Dear sir,

I am attaching a small excel sheet and want the data as per "required". Data may be numeric also.

I have tried by Pivot table but not successful. As data is very big, copy and transpose is not possible. I am using Excel 2013.

    Kindly suggest suitable formula.

    Thanks & Regards,

    Shubhkaran

Using Power Query, you can create a Pivot Table. Here is the Mcode for that excercise.

    Review PQ
    In the attached file
Click on any cell in the new table
On the Data Tab, click on Queries & Connections
In the right window, double click to open Query
    Review PQ steps

    M-code basics:
    - "let" is the start of a query
    - "in" is the closing of a query
    - each transformation step sits in between those 2 lines
    - each step line is ended by a comma, except the last one
    - "Source" is always the first step (Source Data)
    - After "in" you have the last step referenced

    Re: Data transpose

If the format of your file is the same, copy & paste the two columns into the file (over-paste with data starting in 'A4'
Failing this, upload sample file with just a few rows of typical de-sensitised data.
