    Auto populate cells in excel

    Hi Guru's and Experts

    I would like to be able to auto populate cells with names at the click of a button using a generic layout from another hidden sheet.

    there will be 16 cells in total per section (2 rows of 8 one above the other)

    I would like to be able to have a button next to each of these 16 cell blocks that will auto populate them with cells from a hidden sheet so i can quickly use generic data when changes are not required week in week out.

    Can this be done?

    Attached is an example document, also if possible the search function we had working (see search box on sheets on right has stopped working would anyone know how to fix?

    The search boxes have a hard coded name example: L6 "*Creamer*" so using your Test1 names will not work. If you replace "*Creamer*" with $K6 and it will search for the name in that cell.

    You can write a macro to fill in - but I did not understand exactly what you wanted it to look like - Change a sheet to be your example of how it should look, and maybe explain where the data comes from

    the search isnt really the main issue, the names were changed for the sake of this being a test document its more the search box underneath that area that was the issue, the names count list works fine.

    the main issue for me is the auto population mentioned in the main post

    Can you illustrate how you want it populated - maybe add a tab showing the result you want based on your lists?

    Looking at the Macros - it looks like you are set up to copy the Blank Rota tab - If you fill that out it will copy over.
