Seeking 'Upgrade' advice (From Excel 2003).

    Hello All,

I have been using Microsoft Office 11 (2003) for some time now (you can do the maths!).
I am running Windows 7 and don't want to upgrade to 10 (Refer to movie 1984!)

I would like to upgrade Office (or just Excel & Word) to a later compatible version. I am trying to find out what the latest compatible version of Office or Excel is that is available on CD or can be downloaded either free or for a once off fee without having to pay a yearly subscription?

Sadly the internet has become unusable over the last few years as every search seems to arrive at a sales pitch for something irrelevant to my quesion and so I am turning to forums to ask for help instead.

Any advice would be most appreciated.
    Thank you.

I purchased from this vendor with success. Product as described and what I felt was a good value.

Thanks for the link. They may not ship to AUS. - I have to contact the seller. Anyway that's a starting point thanks... Is 2013 the last on CD? I was thinking about Office 2016.

YOu will need to search for other versions. I purchased a 2019 version on CD from this vendor ... after verifying with him directly that it included the CD.

Are you limiting your search to only Microsoft Excel? Would you consider other spreadsheet applications like LibreOffice Calc? If I wasn't tied to Excel by some VBA I wrote years ago, I would be tempted to step away from Microsoft completely.
