Hi,
When I start up Excel, I want to see the Home screen (with the recent files list and create a new blank workbook), not a blank worksheet. Is this possible? Where is the setting I need to change located? I can't find one.
Thanks,
Nancy

Under the File menu click Options then find under General check the "Show the Start screen when this application starts" option.
See if this does what you want the next time you start Excel.

I knew it was possible, and must have read that line a dozen times without it registering in my brain.
It's checked, and all's good.
Thank you so much.
