Disclaimer: The following question can be quite vague but I will try my best to explain it well. So, please feel free to ask any questions to clarify doubts regarding my question so that we can find a solution together for my problem.
I am currently trying to export data from ERP as an XML file (say once a week) and have an Excel file to pull that data automatically (once a week when the XML file has new data loaded into it). For example: in Week 1, excel pulls the data from XML file with some data in it. In week 2, the same excel file should create another worksheet (Sheet 2) within itself and pull the data from the same XML file which now has updated data in it. The reason why I am trying to do it is because I need to see the difference in data between Week 1 and Week 2 which I need to report to my boss. I am not an expert in Excel and I have limited knowledge about its limitations. I would really appreciate if someone can guide me on this one. Once again, please feel free to ask any questions to clarify as the explanation can sound vague.
Here is a simple flowchart to explain my requirements:
Week1:
ERP ---> XML (Week 1 data)
(Automatic data transfer) XML (Week 1 data) --- > "Sheet 1" in "REPORT" Workbook
Week 2:
ERP ---> XML (Week 2 data)
"REPORT" Workbook automatically creates "Sheet 2".
(Automatic data transfer) XML (Week 2 data) --- > "Sheet 2" in "REPORT" Workbook
