I have attached a worksheet with Formulas in the Cells of PAYE and NSSF.
I need someone to help me create a formula that works backwards from Net Salary as the starting Input data and the formula generates the NSSF,PAYE and Gross pay
Thanks

HI. It's pretty hard to go backwards but using goal seek you can work out any Net value to give you the gross based on the formula you already have in your spreadsheet.
I used a macro (using goal seek) to work out a value for you. Run the macro by pressing the button and it will fill in columns I, J, K & L for you. Only enter values into the popup box after pressing the button

Thanks a lot... Very helpful
I saw he helped you already
I looked on your worksheet, just wondering why nested IF and not IFS in the PAYE column?
you can look for IFS here: exceljet.net/excel-functions/excel-ifs-function
IFS is not available in Office 2007:
IFS function
Excel for Microsoft 365 Excel for Microsoft 365 for Mac Excel for the web Excel 2021 Excel 2021 for Mac Excel 2019 Excel 2019 for Mac

If the Office version indicated by OP is correct ( 2007), then IFS was not available
