    Need some help with a league table to show movement of players up and down and non movers/

    Hi Folks.

    I am trying to put some finishing touches on a league table and would like to show movement of players up and down and non movers/new entries based on previous data. Thanks to a lot of useful posts on this site, I have managed to sort most of what I want but just cannot manage the last formula.

    I Tried something similar to the following thread but haven't managed to make it work. Was looking for someone to educate me if possible.

    I have 2 tabs, Table and previous table that contain all the pertinent data and would like to show in Column 1 on the Table table, who has moved up/down/no change/new entry based on the info in the previous table tab

    Please try in Table!A3 copied down:
    Formula: copy to clipboard 
    Please Login or Register  to view this content.


    Note that you have duplicate entries for Limbo74. Hopefully this is an oversight - if not then this solution will not work.

    You could also make this a bit more visually obvious with Conditional Formatting using an Icon Set, so you would have something like the following:
