It wouldn't be the absolute bottom-most cell but the one that isn't 0 of that makes a difference

Excel 1.0.1 (16.0.14326.20140) (Android)
Excel 2010 14.04.4760.1000
Try this:
=LOOKUP(2,1/(A:A<>0),A:A)

Thanks. I'll look this one over later, make sure I understand it then come back...
If it does what you want, please mark the thread as solved.
If you wanted it to return a row number instead of the cell value, use this:
=LOOKUP(2,1/(A:A<>0),ROW(A:A))
So what's the 2 for? Also the 1 over "(A:A<>0)"? I looked up lookup and got the basic idea of how it works and it's parameters but am still lost on how you put your formula together.
Here is where I first saw it explained: https://www.excelforum.com/excel-for...ml#post3398950
If that takes care of your original question, please select Thread Tools from the menu link above and mark this thread as SOLVED.
Also, if you have not already done so, you may not be aware that you can thank those who have helped you by clicking the small star icon located in the lower left corner of the post in which the help was given. By doing so you can add to the reputation(s) of all those who offered help.
I already marked it solved and tried to give you more props but it said I needed to bless others first or something. You've got some affirmative action thing going on here. But I'll try again on a sec. Okay, I'll be digging into this some more
Thanks...
Yeah, no go. Says I gotta "spread reputation around" before giving you anymore. You're doing too good around here making others pale in comparison. Shame on you!
LOL! Thank you.
Well I just gave "Tony Valco" reputation for his contribution. There. And I'll say the nuts and bolts behind this formula is beyond my level. Still reading it over. Like I'd never know the division part he threw in there. That must be for those that know and not those that don't. So I guess I won't be able to understand all the tricks to this program unless I actually study itm but good stuff...
I understand it but could never have worked it out myself. I just use it and know it works.
