    Help with Calendar

    HI

i am new to excel, i have been learning from YouTube videos and excel forums. It took me a awhile but at last i did my first dashboard / Templet.
but i am lost at the last stage of the templet. i couldn't come up with any solution. i am posting it here hoping someone will assist me

    Background :

Facility Total Patients Remaining Patients Remaining Daily Target
    Clinic 1 2417 2417 219,73
    Clinic 2 2075 2075 188,64
    Clinic 3 1271 1271 115,55
    Clinic 4 1257 1257 114,27

i need to track the progress on daily basis

templet will ask to input for dead line , based on deadline templet calculate the Daily target.

Daily progress is indicated on the Calander section of the templet.

    problem:

templet will only generate the 1 month at a time, if i set deadline for 2 months and the after the end of first month, somehow i need to capture the progress on the following month and should be able to track the progress for 2 months on same templet

i have attached the templet for reference

    Kindly assist

    Re: Help with Calander

I have extended so the data will go for two months. It assumes the first month is the current month (you didn't say when you wanted to start). Therefore I had to change the formulas in J6 and N6.

Your data validation rules tells the user to enter the deadline as YYYYMMDD. But this format does not work. Excel does not recognize it as a date, and your data validation rules rejects it. You must use a format like m/d/yyyy or whatever is your localization (maybe d/m/yyyy).

Why do you manually enter the dates in two places? It would be better to enter your deadline in C4 as you do know, then calculate the month and year in C6 and C7 from that. I didn't want to disturb what you have but I recommend these formulas:

    C6: =C4
    Custom Format: Mmm

    C7: =C4
    Custom format: yyyy
