Help with "income for past x days" pls

Say I wanted to tally up a sum of income for past so many days, 30/60/90 etc, managed by transactions in the rows of a table with dates. So the tally would be above the tables.

If say we have the date in column A and column B the individual profits what would that look like? I've done this before but it was pretty complicated. Sumif with index and countif I think.

Thanks. So it's in the highlighted yellow cell the formula. I just put the sum in there to display the result but the finished formula would only get so many days from the current day back so many days

I will try now. I wasn't subscribed to this thread as it requires I manually do it and I forgot to. Might you know how to have it auto subscribe to your own threads?

Thanks! Yes, works. For some reason I was thinking I needed index and was looking into it. I guess that's not necessary. This is pretty simple and looks like I can break it down to understand how it works for future use. Thanks

Might you know how to have it auto subscribe to your own threads?
