I'm working on a spreadsheet and have figured out how to hide the "0" values, but would also like to hide the category labels associated with these "0" values.
Is there a similar method to hiding category labels?

You could try Conditional Formatting.
Assuming your sheet has the standard white background:
Highlight the desired cell to make the label disappear with a zero value, click Format>Conditional Formatting... choose Formula Is in drop down box and enter
=B1=0 (substitute your zero value cell reference for the B 1 here) in the formula box.
Then click Format... and on the Font tab, in the Color drop down select the White box (or whatever color matches your background color). Click OK and then OK again. Now you can use your format painter to copy this format to all desired cells.

Ok, I set the conditional format for the cell and it's working fine on the actual spreadsheet itself, but not on the graph.
Are category labels not dynamic in a graph like the values?
Format Painter will copy the format, but I have to go in an adjust the cell numbers, is this normal?
1) Formatting cells in a sheet has no affect on a chart.
2) You will need to adjust each cell if you made your original cell reference fixed (i.e. $A$1) as opposed to Relative (i.e. A1).
