Tried for a few days and need solution for work

I will lay out my example to my question

    ('Sally:Sheet 37'!W4)*1.4

to the above I need to add ('Sally:Sheet 37'!W4) again how can I do this?
Another way is if I had 100 X 1.4 and then add 100 again after the multiplication.

    Thanks ahead for any help!!!

    =(100*1.4)+100

is how it should look. Or generally,

    =(cell_number*1.4)+cell_number

    Thanks for helping!
I always seem to get a #REF error with your suggestion.

    I am entering
(Sally Smith:Sheet 37'!W4)*1.4 and then I need to re-add the origional (Sally Smith:Sheet 37'!W4) which is $291.56. If the formula was to work I would get an answer of $699.74
I have received Circular reference errors and the above # Ref error.
