Report changes to other worksheet

Hi
I'm a new xl user and would greatly appreciate your help! I was given a workbook with a worksheet containing lots of formulas related to each other(Sheet 1) . I did a copy of this same worksheet in the same workbook (sheet 2).
I am keeping exactly the same formulas in sheet 2 the only difference is that in sheet 2 i hide some columns to be able to see what I want on the screen without scrolling left or right . What i like to do is:
- Whenever something is changed in sheet 1, or rows or column added in sheet 1 I like the changes to appear in sheet 2 without having to unhide the columns in shet 2 . Is that possible?? and how do i do that???

Not 100% sure i understand what you are saying but if sheet 2 is an exact copy of sheet 1 and you make all your changes in sheet 1 whilst using sheet 2 to purely view your data (set out differently as you have hidden some columns) then rather than making a copy of sheet 1 you could insert the formula

=Sheet1!A1

in cell A1 on sheet 2 (all this does is return whatever appears in sheet 1 cell A1 in sheet 2 cell A1)

Then copy this down column A and then copy column A across all the columns you use.



If however you are just trying to keep the top row and / or column(s) on the left (A,B,C etc) in view when you scroll down or across you should use freeze panes in the window menu
