How To Remove Page 1 Water Mark?

I have a document I created that shows a LARGE PAGE 1 water mark across the page. It doesn't print, but I'd like to remove it.

I was working on the document and found out that I had created 14 blank pages as well. In an attempt to remove the blank pages, I came up with this situation.

    Any Ideas please?

Using excel97, I clicked Insert / Object / Clip Art and chose a clip art. Inserted the watermark by clicking Image Control on the Picture Bar. The Picture Bar is a small bar that floated over the clip art. Entering the Picture Bar, clicked Watermark and saved file. Reopening
the sheet, which showed the watermark, I right clicked on the watermark which also opened the Picture Bar. Clicking on Image Control, which showed that watermark was ticked, on clicking Automatic the watermark disappeared. I hope I've followed my actions correctly. It looks as though control of a watermark is through Object.

It sounds to me like your document is in the "Page Break" mode. This shows a large "PAGE 1" etc on the pages. If this is the issue, click on VIEW at the top of Excel then click on NORMAL.
