    Text cut off

I am using excel for Mac on OS X, V10.3.8 to make a text chart. Everything was going along smoothly until I had an unusally long section of text in the cell. The cell height is not the problem. There is plenty of room for the text to wrap but it just seems to stop being visible. The text is still visible in the tool bar but I can't see it in either Normal View or Page Preview. Under the format menu/cells/alignment I selected Horizontal: Left indent: 0, Vertical: Top, Text Control: wrap text. How can I make the text visible? Any help would be greatly appreciated and serve to lower my blood pressure. Thanks

This often happens when cells to the right have a space in them, they look empty but really aren't. Make sure that adjacent cells are empty.

I checked the cell to the right of the one in question and there's nothing in it. The text is visible until I'm about 10 lines into it. Then it just stops at the right side of the cell. Any other ideas? Thanks
