Windows in taskbar

I have excel file that is shared. It is a couple if small macros within it and a when you open the file then it automtaically makes sheet1 active no matter what the sheet was active when the file was previously saved.

I have problem in that when I exit this file, for some reason it somehow deselects the windows in taskbar tickbox, so that other excel files open subsequently all are all within one excel taskbar button.

Has anyone got any suggestions on this.
