# row number in a formula in Excel?

1. ## row number in a formula in Excel?

How do I use a row number in a formula calculation in excel?
For .e.g I want to have cell = 3/(current row number).

Also is it possible to make row numbers start from 0?

2. ## Re: row number in a formula in Excel?

3. ## Re: row number in a formula in Excel?

=3/ROW()
