    print formula


    i need to know how to get formula printed on the spreadsheet.

    please advise

    Tools > Options > ViewTab > check "Formulas" box under "Window options" >
    OK.......

    un-check the box to return to normal......

    Hi bentleypiano,
    If you mean printing the formula used in another cell, see

    Show FORMULA or FORMAT of another cell
    I prefer to show the formula in use for documentation purposes,
    within the actual spreadsheet they are active in, which I think is the best choice.

    If not familiar with installing a User Defined Function see

    use is similar to Excels own functions
    =GetFormula(B4)
    or if installed in a different workbook.
    =personal.xls!GetFormula(B4)
