    Macro for moving rows?

    I'm new to excel, and am trying to figure out how to create a macro that will move rows into different workbooks based on a critiria.


    In plain english, I want to:

    Select a row
    If Column C = Email, move the entire row to the email workbook
    If Column C = Phone, move the entire row to the phone workbook

    Can anyone make some suggestions as to how I would accomplish that, or at least let me know where I can read up on the syntax and commands that I need?

    You might like to take a look at a solution to another user's similar problem. Use the Search forums facility and look for posts by Teeb. One of his posts is entitled "Copy and Paste Help". You may be able to modify the posted solution to do what you want.
