I would like to know if there is a way when opening files off the network to have the directory/sub-directory open in alphabetical order at the top of the sub-directory.

The problem I am experiencing is this. I go into File\Open and select the appropriate directory; let's say the J: drive. The J: drive has over one hundred subdiretories in it. When I select the J: drive I would like it to list the subdirctories in alphabetical order (which it does) beginning at the top (ie the first subdirectory based on alphabetical order.)

Currently, when I open a directory there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason as to where in the listing of subdirectories the selection process starts. Sometimes its at the top, but more often than not its in the middle or towards the bottom.

So how can I get it to begin at the top? It makes it difficult to navigate through all the subdirectories when I don't know where in the list I will be at as I try to work my way thru them to get to the file I want.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
