    Thanks. I figured it out. I had to activate the software. It is relatively
    new and I hadn't done the phone activation yet. Therefore, it wouldn't allow
    me to do anything.

    It sounds like the worksheet or workbook is protected. Take a look at the
    protection features in the Tools Menu.
