how to calculate different colum item?

I have 2 columns in my excel sheet.and i add a pull down menu for each column.

Mechanical EVT-Open
Mechanical DVT-Close
Hardware DVT-Open

I facing problem: how to calculate the percentage for software open cases.

I don't see an omg, but you may have to adjust the range in the formula to meet your requirements, I just saw that you were adding the three items

oh ya...

but from my calculation, open cases=3 ,1 is software ,2 is hardware....
software should be 33.33% , hardware =66.67% ,mechanical=0%..
but it show software 41.67%...
