    help with a simple formula

I have a sheet that contains 1600 entries. In column A I have the number of days absent. What I would like to do is to have a second column that gives me a percent of the time absent. So for a school year 180 days.
    I can write a formula of =sum(a1/180)
but i dont want to do htis 1600 times.
I know there has to be a better way.

Thank you for any help you can give me

    Hi satodog,

Your nearly there with your formula, if your days absent is in A1, then in A2

    =A1/180, then Format > Number > Percentage

then copy/drag this down column B
