24 hr timesheet

    Unhappy 24 hr timesheet

    i'm new to excel and could do with some advice please.

    i need to produce a time sheet for my hours but i have a problem. sometime i work a late shift which start at 14:00, but i often finish past midnight. i have worked out how to calculate up to 23:59 but cant work out how to calculate if i work until say 01:00 or any time past 00:00 (midnight).

    help please, my head hurts.

    Hi lee maroney,

    Try formatting your time [hh]:mm, with [ ] around the hours, this takes into account hours going beyond one day. See also this link which may help you.
