Merging data from multiple sources

Please go easy on me.....new to excel.

I am working from multiple worksheets and I need to compare data in all. By that I mean I need to merge, find & match records which appear in both worksheets. This would then need to appear in the same worksheet.

The main point of reference is a range of unique record numbers.

You need to use the VLOOKUP function. If you type VLOOKUP into help, it will explain how it works. It's not as complicated as it looks.
