Making blank cells show a error (Customizeable errorr)

Hey,

I have just been practicing with excel and what i want to do is make it so if there is nothing put in the quantity cell then it displays a error saying "Input a value" or something like that

select cells A8:A14 (according to image)
go to Data > Validation > under Settings tab in Allow list select Custom
and put formula
=B1<>""
remember to uncheck Ignore Blanks option
then under Error Alert tab, put your message (may be "Enter quantity first.")

now you have to enter quantity first then Product ID.
it will not allow to enter Prod ID first then leaving Qty cell Blank.
