Workbook Timer

Hi all has some one come across this?
I am atttempting to setup a timer in excel whereas if a user has a workbook open say longer than 5 minutes a message box will appear to remind them that they have the work book open, upon rsponding to the the message it will either reset the timer or close the workbook. Can this be done?
