any single cell 12 figure entry will be converted, but you will not be able to use the field as = 00146f7ebg96 for comparison or lookup etc.

note, this code is set to act on a single cell as data is entered, it will not react to items Pasted into the sheet, nor to items derived via formula ( for cells where the formula is =A1 and you enter the item into A1 etc)

If you wish another (Macro) version to bulk-process an already existing sheet let me know.
