Diary or Planner software help

Hey Dear Helpers,
I want to prepare a diary or personal information management software just like the PIMone or Advanced Diary. Which Application can I use -- MS Excel or MS Access or Visual Basic or whatever. Please have a look at the Advanced Diary software or PIMone software and suggest me the right one. Dont say "buy either one and use it" because I want to try and create one by myself.

Hi,

I doubt that anyone could express a correct opinion on which one is right for you. You would need to compare the features of each, and assess that feature's usefulness to your needs, and then assess your ability to duplicate that feature in the project that you are about to undertake.
