Validation

Firstlly thanks to all who have helped on this forum so far. It's been a life saver.
I need to apply a validation list to a multiple number of cells scatered around my sheet. Must I do each one individually or is there a way to do them all at once?

Try copying the cell with validation, selecting the cells you would like to apply it, then select Paste Special > Validation.

That put a drop down in the cells but did not reference my validation list.
Proceeding manually for now. 120 cells to go......

What is the original validation reference?

The original ref is =AH1:AH83

It's a list of times I want my managers to use in a drop down from the sheet for entering employee hours. When I paste or paste special it seems to add a collumn for each new cell used. So the ref moves to eg AI1:AI83 then AJ1:AJ83 etc etc.

Change the original reference to absolute references (i.e. - =$AH$1:$AH$83). Then copy, paste special.
