+ and - in an equation

I am not a complete virgin to excel but this little problem is getting the better of me. I am trying to enter the + sign over the top of the - sign in a measurement. Perhaps this may explain what i am trying to do.

I have a measurement 476.7 with a tolerance of + or - 0.03mm. I would like to have the + over the -. Is this possible and if so hows it done.

While holding down the ALT key, type 0177 (using the numeric keypad), then let go of the ALT key.
